We cleared a bit more land today - another 100 feet or so along the fence line, but then took a break went exploring. While walking among the tall pines and stands of live oaks the reality of what we just got into started to sink in and I had my first "oh shit" moment. It wasn't a panic or anything bad, but it was a couple of moments that I was facing the reality that these big 10 acres are ours - all ours! It was quite overwhelming being in the middle of such tall trees, but exciting knowing that somewhere on this wide acreage will be my home one day. It's a satisfying feeling sitting here tonight barely able to keep my eyes open knowing I am feeling this way because of my hard work and effort. And that there is SO much more to come!!! //tr

Looks like a really nice piece of property. Sometimes the long to-do list gets so overwhelming that we forget to take time to simply enjoy! But, good physical activity lends itself to the reward of occasional breaks. I think they work well together, to keep our appreciation for the land and nature fine tuned.
